BurritoBot Takes on Western Edge Premier Event: A Season Milestone to Remember

BurritoBot had an unforgettable experience! Our team proudly took part in the Western Edge Premier Event (WEPE), a distinguished FIRST Tech Challenge event that unites talented teams to celebrate innovation, teamwork, and excellence in robotics worldwide.
The three-day competition truly tested our dedication and resilience, occurring during finals week and just a week before high school graduation. No pressure, right? Despite these challenges, BurritoBot displayed remarkable focus, perseverance, and passion throughout the event.
Participating in WEPE is one of the most significant milestone for our organization. We had the chance to compete alongside talented teams from around the globe, including those from Romania, Thailand, Mexico, and many more. This experience enabled our student to push their limits, learn from others, and celebrate the global community that makes FIRST robotics so unique. But most importantly and the highlight of this trip is that we made friends globally!
Beyond the matches, BurritoBot consistently demonstrated our team's core values: self-improvement, supporting not only our teammates but also others, and making a positive impact through STEM. We are incredibly proud of this journey and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this achievement possible.
